HYG is delighted to announce that the design competition for our latest project has been finalised – a striking 43-storey Build to Rent development strategically located on the eastern side of the Pacific Highway. This project will comprise 418 residential units alongside vibrant retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces. Our design aims to integrate and enhance the surrounding public areas, creating a tranquil retreat amid Chatswood’s dynamic environment.

The development draws inspiration from the historical significance and vibrant activity of the northern ridge along the Pacific Highway. The ground plane design reflects these elements, paying homage to historic pathways extending north from Sydney CBD. The outdoor gathering space is intended to honour and celebrate the community’s rich cultural heritage and shared experiences.

The project’s focus on wellbeing and its thoughtful connection to Country have been highly praised by the Jury, acknowledging these aspects as significant strengths of the development.
